Make sure you can vote

Election Day is November 3. This is the most important thing you can do right now.

The last day to register online or by mail is October 19. After that you can still register and vote in person at City Hall or any San Francisco vote center, through Election Day.

Key dates

Oct 5: Ballots are mailed to every registered voter. The City Hall Voting Center opens.
Oct 19: Last day to register online or by mail. Same-day registration continues in person after this.
Nov 3: Election Day. Polls are open 7am–8pm. Vote Yes on H.

Volunteer for the campaigns

Talking to voters is what carries a measure across the line — volunteers make that happen. No experience needed, and events happen all across the city between now and November 3.
